PICmicro Links and Pages
One of the most popular microcontroller families is the PICmicro series
from Microchip. It is quite inexpensive
to get started with PICs -- a beginner's development system can be assembled
for $50 US or so -- and the availability of Flash-based parts makes it relatively
painless to recover from basic errors along the learning curve. In addition,
there are a tremendous number of Web resources available from which people
can obtain information: Circuits, programs and program fragments, case studies,
FAQs, etc. are all quite easy to find. To top it all off, much of the PIC user
community participates in one of the most informative, helpful and well-behaved
Internet mailing lists on any topic: the PICLIST. Links to the PICLIST archives
and information on subscribing, unsubscribing, etc. can be found below.

Books
The following is a link to my Fatbrain "storefront",
containing all the PICmicro books of which I'm aware.
Following links from my pages to buy books at Fatbrain helps pay for this website.
Mailing Lists
As mentioned above, the PICLIST is a uniquely valuable resource. Here's a few links
to help you find out more about it:
