Old What's New Log entries

Removed the silly "book of the week" thing that I never updated much. Also added
a couple of links on my "finding electronic parts" page. Cleaned up some broken
links.

Hoo, boy. So much for weekly updates, huh? Just not enough hours in the day...
I'm working again on some new content,
but I'm not going to promise much in the way of dates. Mostly, my updates today
amount to removing the appearance that I'm making weekly updates.

OK, so I've missed a week. Ok, so maybe two. My excuse is that I was at the
Embedded
Systems Conference in San Jose two weeks ago, and in the past week simply haven't
had time. I'll try to make up for it. I wrote a little
summary of my time at ESC for the PICLIST; hope you find it interesting.
Also new this week is my page of Linux Resources for EEs.
It's there but it isn't completely filled out. I'll keep adding stuff over the next
few days.
- 9/20/99 Still collecting material for my Linux resources
page. I should just put up what I have... I've added some new PICLIST gems, (with more
in the works), updated the distributer and mcu pages, and added two new pages: The
old log page linked below, and a new page on resources for finding electronics parts.
- 9/13/99 I haven't gotten much done that I wanted to
over the past week. I have added a few links, I've reorganized my PIC
and Links for PIC Enthusiasts pages, and I've added a new
Electronics Books page. I'm working on a couple of pages
of Linux links for EEs, but it hasn't come together as fast as I've wanted; I have
a pile of links, but it takes a while to organize them. Please let me know
if you have any you'd like to see. Finally, I've started
to realize that I'm going to need to pick up a few more Web Development skills
to make this site more usable. Toward that end, I've picked up a copy of
Que's Platinum
Edition Using HTML 4, XML, and Java 1.2. It's amazing how much there is to
learn, and how much one can do with this stuff. Look for some site improvements soon.
- 9/5/99 Please understand that, as of 9/5/99, I've also just begun to
put this together, so there's a bunch of gaps here compared
to what I intend to put up. However, the pages are taking shape nicely, and are filling
out on a daily basis.
