Electronics
I apologize to the reader that this web site has grown
hopelessly out of date. I clearly no longer have the time
or inclination to maintain it. As I was changing
my webserver software and had to rewrite some of the
tags in these pages, I began to think that I should just
delete it all. However, there
are a couple of pages in here that continue to get a
steady stream of hits, and there's a couple of resources --
in particular, the null modem adapters, Fr. Tom's pages,
and maybe the RS-485 adapter circuit -- that people
continue to access, and which seem to have fairly high
rankings on google for some sorts of searches. So I plan
to keep these pages here as long as is practical, but
please don't expect any updates. Thank you to all the
readers -- and especially the people who have written
me about some of the pages -- that have made this seem
a little less of a complete waste of time.

What's New
- 11/24/02
Fixed a couple of broken links.
- 10/02/01
Updates and additions on the Adapters and
Distributers pages. Not that more aren't needed :-(
- 08/23/01
This page has just moved to a new server, please let me
know if you experience any problems with it. Thanks!
- 01/18/01
Removed a bunch of "new" and "updated" tags, and added one;
EDI Adapters has been acquired by aprilog.com.
- 08/28/00
Added a couple of new links on the
Miscellaneous Excellent Sites and the
PICmicro WebLinks pages.
- 08/03/00
Added a new page, on a design for
Null Modem Adapters. This page
updates a text-only description that I've had laying around for some time, and makes it a somewhat more
accessible and findable web page. I hope that people find it useful.
- 06/06/00
Added a new page, Fr. Tom McGahee's Page. Tom McGahee is
a high school electronics teacher who has written a number of useful programs and tutorials. I've made a place
where some of that stuff can be distributed. Take a look!
- 05/20/00
Updated a few links, look for the "updated" tags...
